Dina arbetsuppgifterIn this role you will belong to Tech Data's Finance department and report to the Accounting Manager. As a Financial Accountant at Tech Data you will support the Nordic Accounting Manager and local Finance Manager. Your main duties include managing financial transactions in Financial Nordic service.
• Balance sheet reconciliation's as per assignment and consolidation/review of local reconciliations
• Administration and control of end-2-end Marcom process
• Payroll postings with accordance to information received from outsourced company
• Handling of freight invoices that are cross charged from Sweden
• Fixed assets Management
• Approving pass-through credits that are financed by fund/credit notes from the vendor
• Full scope month end closing, according to MEC list
• Prepare the Corporate Data Collection Package (BPC) and ensure adherence to timetable
• Provide support with the result analysis and comment variance from the budget
• Provide support to Nordics FI Management as well as Local FI Management
• Support any type audit (E&Y, internal, SOX, tax audits)
• Support in getting finance SOX compliance
• Communications with Corporate Accounting in the U.S as well as support any request from EMEA HQ
• Data preparation for VAT return submission and other statistical reporting like EC Sales List, including monthly reconciliations
• Handling SMT as well as supporting finance related projects
KvalifikationerWe expect you to have at least a Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting plus a couple of years of relevant work experience. You have a good knowledge about US GAAP principles, local accounting principles and good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Other qualifications that are strongly meritorious are a good knowledge of the Finnish VAT, Excel and experience from SAP R3.
To be successful in this role you are a self-motivated person who can work on your own initiative and have good organizational and time management skills. Furthermore, you should be an independent team player with good interpersonal skills who is reliable and able to work to deadlines.
