www.maersk.com.We are looking for a highly motivated Sales representative who is committed to achieve results. This person will be responsible for developing customer relations and growing business potential in a geographical area. The right candidate will be offered a very stimulating job with great potential.
The position will be based in our Gothenburg office, but it will of course be required to spend a substantial part of the working hours externally to meet customers in the district.
Area of responsibility
• Manage the selling process to external customers in a specific geographical area
• Proactively search, qualify, develop and engage into new customer relationships
• Identify customer needs, opportunities and key buying factors for existing customers and formalize these into value propositions and strategies
• Work to maximize profitability and volume across client portfolio
• Build strong relationships with customers and continuously seek improved customer satisfaction
• Define and communicate individual client strategies & commercial priorities
• Responsible for the contract negotiations with client
• Individually pursue, coordinate and negotiate business opportunities
• Deliver on sales budgets, targets and Key Performance Indicators
• Monitor business performance and proactively address shortfall and/or non-adherence to agreements/terms
Candidate qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a person having strong commercial, market & customer understanding, able to structure and handle business relations internally and externally. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, decisive, self going, quality driven and has a strong result orientation. We will also demand high ethics and strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers. The candidate needs to be fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Minimum 3 years experience from the shipping/transport industry is required for this position.
