To meet the growing development configuration needs for 5 development teams we are now looking for an experienced development configuration manager who is always gazing ahead making sure that the configuration of the eco-system is efficient.

We are looking for a development configuration manager that lives and breathes for configuration issues, tools and questions, and who in the past has been a Java developer. We believe that he or she today is the development configuration manager for a large or complex product/application that many teams develop. As development configuration manager you will work with our environment responsible, our test configuration manager and between all our development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain branching and merging strategy.
• Setup Maven (Configuration and branches).
• Configure new projects and branches in SVN and Team City.
• Automate the development chain i.e. requirement in-> dev/test -> comitt-> release notes out.
• Automate builds ? Implement best practices within Continous Delivery.
• Visualize code metrics e.g. code complexity and how our product is feeling.
• Ensure that the right configuration is available on all environments.
• Align the configuration on all environments ? test/production environments should correlate
• Build modules.
• Work strategically with our development configuration setup and continuous delivery.
• Act as the SPOC towards other parts of the organization in configuration questions.
• Define release instructions per release.

Competence Requirements:

• Experience as a development configuration manager in business critical projects.
• Extensive hands on experience from Maven, Ant, SVN and Team City, Jira.
• Broad experience from delivery/integration tools such as Jenkins, Cruise control, Hudson etc.
• Broad experience from versioning tools such as Git, CVS etc.
• Broad experience from backlog/pm tools such as Rally, Basecamp, Target process etc.
• Current or recent Java development experience.
• Experience from Web or Integration development.
• Experience from Service oriented architecture.
• Experience from EAI, Enterprise Application Integration.

Required tool & process knowledge:

• Maven, Ant, Team City (must) / Cruise Control, Hudson, Jenkins (preferred).
• IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Subversion (must) / CVS, Git (preferred).
• QC, Jira / Greenhopper (must) / Rally (preferred).
• Scrum and Kanban.
• XP.

Required soft skills:

• Great people skills.
• Excellent at communicating and facilitating solution workshops.
• Team player with strong ability to plan own work.
• Interested in the details that creates the big picture.
• A great feeling for when to be pragmatic and when not to.
• Fluent in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
