Avalanche Studios is currently looking for experienced Character Programmers to helpcontribute to the future success of the studio
We require experienced character programmers with at least 2 years of development experience for current generation consoles. This is a position within one of several high profile unannounced AAA titles, for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with some of the world’s most distinguished publishers.
The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual who is good at communicating and working within cross-discipline teams, particularly with designers and animators. Furthermore, a deep understanding of modern approaches to character animation is required. The candidate should also have the ability to plan and carry out programming tasks to required levels of quality and on time.
Candidates must have a proven track record in character scripting, animation state machines, animation blending and similar techniques and systems. Third person action/shooter character work is of particular interest.
