hela Sverige Perido is searching for an Event Assistant for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. This position is placed at their office in Solna, Stockholm.
In this role as Event Assistant you will be a member of the Mission and Meeting team, whose purpose is to support the Travel and Meeting organisation of the agency. You will take on a variety of tasks and assignments, including:
• Administrate and coordinate travel requests from internal staff and external meeting participants
• Handle travel and hotel bookings as well as the arrangements of services
• Registrate travels and meetings in the agency's monitoring system
Furthermore, this role includes you to do some numerical work such as verify offers of services and invoices and make sure that they are accurate and relevant. Your eye for details and your structed way will help you when drafting and compiling reports as well as filling, reading and analysing data and tables.
To be able to perform your tasks at your very best, you are required to have excellent customer service orientation and communication skills at all levels internally and externally - in both oral and written English. Some days will be more stressful than others, which demands that you are capable to organize and prioritize under pressure. The ability to take initiative as well as managing responsibilities and confidential information with a high level of discretion is essential for this role.

Required qualifications
• Post-secondary education and relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in a financial/accounting/travel organisation/administrative environment
• Relevant experience and knowledge linked to the tasks mentioned above
• Good and thorough with figures and ability to analyse data and tables
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
Contract type and hours
Fulltime. Start 1th of July to the end of December with possible extension
