Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer, (SQE), within the Material Supply department for Supplier Quality Assurance.
The work mainly contains proactive work with our new and ongoing suppliers to secure high quality on incoming material to Kumla Module Centre and our EMS partners. By using quality tools and performing process audits we can control our supplier's processes. This will be done along the whole product life cycle, from Pre-development and TTM to TTC.
Internally within Kumla Module Centre you will have interfaces with Material Supply, Production, Quality and Technical departments. Externally, you will have interfaces with Ericsson R&D centers, Sourcing and of course your main focus, our Suppliers.
Qualifications
Technical Bachelor degree in mechanics or electronics is needed.
We are looking for a person with a proactive attitude and who are used to work in complex environments.
To be successful in this position you should be quality minded and used to work with quality tools. The preferred candidate would have good communication skills, as the role involves communication and interaction with suppliers and users throughout the Ericsson organization.
A supplier quality engineer should have:
• Good knowledge to read and understand technical specifications (incl. Drawings).
• Good computer skills (MS Office, SAP, CBS)
• Good knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Independent, self-confident and well organized with analytical mind.
