Ericsson ConsumerLab has more than 20 years? experience of studying people?s behaviors and values, including the way they act and think about ICT products and services. Ericsson ConsumerLab provides unique insights on market and consumer trends. Ericsson ConsumerLab gains its knowledge through a global consumer research program based on interviews with 100,000 individuals each year, in more than 40 countries? statistically representing the views of 1.1 billion people.
Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used, and hundreds of hours are spent with consumers from different cultures. To be close to the market and consumers, Ericsson ConsumerLab has representatives in all regions where Ericsson is present, developing a thorough global understanding of the ICT market and business models.

Responsibilities:
Work in, or drive, consumer research projects.
Identify and contribute to new and relevant consumer research questions, to drive strategic issues and thought leadership about evolving consumer ICT use.
Translate new ideas and findings into actionable insights and conclusions.
Drive analysis and implementation of findings in the Ericsson Group as well as to participate in discussions with customers.
Act as a spokesperson for own Ericsson ConsumerLab studies and insights, providing Ericsson with a ?voice of the consumer?, e.g. at external events, press briefings and customer meetings.
Transfer knowledge internally to secure that Ericsson ConsumerLab always stays in the forefront of understanding consumer ICT use trends
Requirements
• Experience and good understanding of consumer behavior
• Relevant experience, at least 3-4 years, working in consumer related areas, preferably as a trend analyst or consumer researcher
• Background from having worked in international organizations and with multi-disciplinary teams is an advantage
• Knowledge of the ICT industry, its players and business models is an advantage
• Having lived abroad for several years and speaking foreign languages is an advantage
Competence
• Academic degree in behavioral science, sociology, ethnography, cultural anthropology or in similar areas
• Analytical and able to draw conclusions from existing information
• Business oriented
• Ability to translate research in to insights
• Good communications skills, both verbal and written communication
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Structured with project management skills, thus keeping deadlines and budgets
