An exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of our equipment team and have direct responsibility for maintenance and repair of our container fleet in Scandinavia.
As the EMR analyst you are responsible for all our EMR activities including planning, execution with our vendors and development for our Cluster.
You will ensure that our Maersk Line container fleet is maintained and repaired according to our company policy, in a timely manner together with our suppliers, and deliver sound, safe and clean units to our customers according to the requirements of their cargo. You are expected to work closely with our key stakeholders such as repair shops, the regional operations centre, Head Office, Global Service Center and colleagues around the world in EMR to deliver the most competitive product for our customers.
You will work closely with our equipment team and the EMR Supervisor in Scandinavia to make sure we have alignment on procedures, competence and execution of agreed strategies and targets.
Key Responsibilities
Execution of daily EMR activities in Scandinavia cluster according to guidelines issued by Centre EMR
Deliver on EMR standards while also making sure that our turn time of damaged equipment is kept at an absolute minimum
Visit repair shops and perform pre-repair and post-repair audits in agreement with the EMR Supervisor to ensure our suppliers meet the Maersk Line standard
Ensure repair estimates are verified and timely approved in our operating repair system and our repair shops are paid timely
Continuously work to optimize our repair flows and ensure recovery on damages caused by 3rd party or our customers
Develop close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate local business needs today and tomorrow
Support the equipment team to meet our commercial and operational demands in the most cost efficient way and with the right attitude
Increase awareness about EMR within the Scandinavian organization and promote our EMR department globally
Be responsible and ensure compliance with policy involving sale of containers
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate has a convincing personality, a sense of urgency, drive and result orientation. Proficient communicator and relationship builder with internal & external stakeholders. Solid understanding of change management and the importance of delivering on both the business and the human side in an organization.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years technical experience in the container industry. Holding an IICL certificate will be seen as an advantage.
Technical skills within the areas of container repairs and maintenance will be preferred
A person with strong cross functional understanding and great visibility in the organisation. Be a team player and positively influence colleagues on all levels
You are able to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels
You should be fluent in English both written and verbally. Preferably the candidate speaks Swedish or another Scandinavian language.l
Strong knowledge of system use and good knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
