hela Sverige Vattenfall is looking for an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, who wants to make impact and support the energy industry and the society with her deep technical knowledge and experience.
Vattenfall is realizing its mission to become fossil free in one generation. On top of that Vattenfall is committed to achieving net zero emissions in our full value chain by 2040 to keep global warming within 1.5 degrees as ambitiously set forth with the Paris Climate Agreement.
To meet these goals and deliver a stable and secure energy supply, Vattenfall's energy value chain and its underly technology infrastructure need to radically change. This infrastructure needs to allow for ubiquitous connectivity to devices, industries and market parties, whilst enabling AI-infused and data driven processes to seamlessly balance traditional generation, micro-consumption and production, flexibility services and increased demand for electrification to meet co2 targets.
These needed innovations can only be sustained on a secure and stable IT infrastructure that is professionally engineered and managed by the Vattenfall infrastructure teams.
As Enterprise Infrastructure Architect you will be reporting directly to the Vice President IT and CIO.
Key activities will be:
• Strategic architect
As Enterprise IT Infrastructure Architect you responsible for the enterprise technology strategy, including cloud strategy and infrastructure modernization, to transform and innovate IT operations.
• Change manager and guardian
As Enterprise IT Infrastructure Architect you oversee the infrastructure technology roadmap to steer the introduction of new technologies on top of the existing landscape based on current and upcoming business needs, technology development and dependencies. You will enable and ensure the implementation of the different roadmaps by driving actively change management. You will have architecture and technology oversight on key infrastructure project and changes and secure an integration to overall roadmaps.
• Business Partner
As our Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, you listen to stakeholders to enlighten and fortify crucial improvements and adjustments to existing infrastructure technology. Driver for Change.
Your profile as Enterprise IT Infrastructure Architect:
• You have 10+ years' solid experience as technology leader across infrastructure domains (hosting, network, security, on-premises/cloud);
• You have been pioneering and architecting for large scale infrastructure programs.
• You have a strong background in working an international environment with multiple stakeholders and know how to create a following among architects, managers, program leads needed to execute your vision.
• You can easily structure complex conflicting problems/projects to see dependencies and chart a clear course of action to resolution.
• You ensure robust technology roadmaps - meaning your proposals are fact-based, validated with stakeholders and technology sound.
• You have a keen eye for 'smart' architecture - balancing what is forward looking, what is needed, what is possible and what we can afford.
• Preferably you have worked working experience in the utility's domain, understanding their business processes, regulations and challenges
Location: Flexible- we expect that you are living close to one of our main offices in Stockholm, Hamburg, Berlin, Amsterdam and Katowice
