Digital Machining is a newly initiated department within Sandvik Coromant - aiming to bring offers and products to the market and redefining the value chain experience for our customers through improved efficiency of operations. We do this by developing digital solutions for software and hardware, empowered by our core machining knowledge. Driving one of the most important strategic initiatives for Sandvik Coromant, we strive to position ourselves as a digital groundbreaker in the metal cutting industry.
We are now looking for an Enterprise Architect focusing on Technical Solutions to join us. Your mission
In this role, you have the important responsibility for our technology solution architecture and for enabling a successful translation of business requirements into fit-for-purpose, high-level architectural landscapes. By gathering, analyzing and understanding data, you ensure we follow given frameworks and you streamline our work to create overall synergies and enable development. You identify gaps and overlaps and actively inform stakeholders of major changes in the architectural landscape. Utilizing your theoretical knowledge in a hands-on manner, you provide the correct technical solutions and by researching new and emerging technologies, you ensure that we are frontrunners in the field.
Other responsibilities include:
• Acting as a bridge between the digital machining organization, development departments and our stakeholders
• Solving complex problems by coordination, communication and great team work
• Creating active and trusting relationships with our customers
In this position, you are based in Sandviken or Stockholm, and some business travel is included in your job.
Your character
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, combined with at least five years' experience from solution architecture, where a certificate in the field is an advantage. In addition, we value a broad background working with electronics, software engineering and embedded systems in a manufacturing industry. Knowledge of business processes and business architecture is an advantage, as are skills in Microsoft Azure. We are a global organization, which calls for excellent verbal and written skills in English, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
Being strategic and flexible, you navigate successfully in a cross-functional environment and you view your work from an overall perspective. Creating trustworthy collaborations is one of your strong suits, and by understanding complex technology matters and utilizing your good communication skills, you share and present information in ways to ensure everyone is on board. You are naturally very analytical and have a strong drive in reaching results.
