hela Sverige Northvolt is seeking a Engineering Manager - Technical Project Management to join our team in Northvolt ETT, Skellefteå, Sweden. You will be responsible for managing complex projects related to battery cell development, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for a team of Technical Project Managers covering cross functional alignment, scheduling, resource planning and progress follow up of manufacturing process equipment and material handling projects for Northvolt's advanced factories. You will also lead and build a team of TPMs delivering an overall manufacturing process functionality in time, quality, and cost from design phase to hand-over to manufacturing and maintenance team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accountable for leading a team of TPMs (technical project managers) that can be spread across zones or buildings.
Work cross functionally with the program team to define priorities across products/projects.
Align with teams designing future factories and future projects to understand needs and assign relevant TPMs.
Maintain an outlook of TPM needs vs future buildings and lines and build a staffing plan to keep up with the pace of growth.
Responsible for overall vendor management within your team
Lead and Develop Team members to deliver successful projects.
Responsible for delivering the project scopes through cross functional departments and tracking of the cross functional project timelines.
Responsible as the risk focal point for the designated project groups, ensuring completion to close out of all risk processes, reporting and follow up.
Responsible for project budget follow-up for the designated equipment project in a detailed engineering level to secure decisions.
Responsible for securing long term and short team cross functional project resource planning and equipment project prioritization.
Develop an industrialization project toolbox jointly with Engineering managers to standardize the activities across different projects and feed it into the Factory Blueprint.
Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
Master of science in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering or equivalent
Extensive project leadership experience in fast moving demanding industrial environments
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment.
Minimum of 3+ years experience in managing teams directly
Experience in Matrixed organizations.
