hela Sverige We are now looking for a skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our Construction team to build the power supply and industrial grid for Northvolt Labs in Västerås.
As an electrical project manager, you will be responsible for:
- Fully understanding the electrical construction drawing requirements and making sure that they are implemented on site.
- Attendance at site meetings and liaison with design to answer questions from site.
- Regular progress status reporting.
- Arranging all 3rd party inspections at pre-determined milestones to ensure that the electrical installation complies with the construction drawings and contracted deliverables.
- Being the client representative at all site electrical inspections.
- Regular inspection of electrical contractor's quality control program and documentation.
- Witness the commissioning of the electrical HV and LV switchgear and electrical MCCs and distribution boards.
- Creation of Northvolt inspection/commissioning checklists.
- Accepting the handover of the electrical documentation.
- Arranging for the training of the operation and maintenance personnel.
This role will work closely with the Head of Construction from pre-construction all the way to practical completion. You get the unique opportunity to be part of building the construction team of Northvolt.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree within Electrical Engineering or relevant areas or equivalent combination of education and experience

10-15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Project management/Planning of major industrial projects involving development of power distribution grids.

Have designed or lead development and construction of robust power distribution systems to meet high requirements on reliability, availability and maintainability.

Understands how to utilize the possibilities of integrating a battery electrical energy storage as a peak-shaving and back-up system to optimize the factory power demands.

Excellent English - written and oral skills. Any additional languages skills are a plus.

Great communication skills as you will be in constant interaction with team members and external parties such as authorities and auditors.

Experience from, and motivated to, setting up work methods and procedures from scratch, work with process evaluation and documentation.

High work ethic, multi-tasker, strong analytical ability and attention to details, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
