Visual Act is hiring anElectrical designerwho is ready for the next level.We develop and manufacture advanced technology for the entertainment industry and as anElectrical designerat Visual Act you willbe part ofthe design team, approaching with quality and innovation in our end-to-end process.
We want to createpowerfultheater experiencesandspectacular TV-shows. As anElectrical designer you will work with everything that takes place behind the scenesandin the borderbetweentechnology and scenography. Oursystemsget physical objects like cameras, decorations and even people to move three-dimensional on scenes all over the world! Visual Act has had several prestigious assignments, ranging from Celine Dion in Las Vegas to the Olympics inSotji.
About the role?
This is a position where you will work hands-on in a place where no day is like the other. As anElectrical designer you will work from the idea stage to production. You will design both electrical -and electronic schematics, PCB and monitor the process to ensure the quality of the end-product. You will work cross-functionally with thedesignengineers at Visual Act and provide engineering advice to guide and troubleshoot on site. In this role youareoften creating custom-made devices to fit a specific client needs, which means you will work creatively. As a personyou are driven by curiosity, enjoys variation and have strong communication skills.
Your background
• You have a Master of Science in Electrical engineering orequivalent
• You haveat least3 years' experience in electrical design
• You understand the fundamentals of software and mechanics
• You are fluent in English
It would be great if youhave
• Experience in robotics/industrial robotics
• Experience as a product designer or industrial engineer
