More and more customers are looking to Konecranes and we are now looking for an electrical designer to join our successful team. Being an electrical design engineer in Konecranes means that in addition to construction, you have a key role in quotation calculation, purchase of components and project documentation. We have modern processes and aids and are at the absolute forefront of technology development.
Duties:
You work in a Scandinavian organization where you are responsible for technical support and electrical design of modernizations with high focus on price-efficient and that technical solutions are optimized in relation to customer needs. You are responsible for ensuring that the design and component selection comply with applicable norms and standards. Most of the working time you spend in the office, but there are trips throughout Scandinavia. You make calculations and help our sales team with quotation work with the support of our systems and templates. In this position, you report directly to the Head of Support Functions.
Qualifications:
We are looking for you who have an education with an electrical engineering focus as well as a few years of successful service in electrical construction. It is important that you have a basic business and financial understanding. It is of the utmost importance that you can express yourself well in English.
Driver's license is a requirement.
If you have a university degree in electrical design, automation, as well as experience from the crane industry, we see it as a merit.
Personal qualities:
As a person, you are thorough, structured, support-oriented /supportive and know what activities are required to drive quotation calculation, electrical design, documentation for project completion. You are energetic, get things done and finish the activities started. It is important that you are structured and can prioritize your tasks in a good way in consultation with the immediate manager. Working independently is a matter of course for you, but you also enjoy teamwork. Achieving results in this role requires that you be able to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
