We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our team! For the successful candidate, this role offers frequent close interaction with various functions across the Epiroc Group and global stakeholders. You will be part of a dynamic team and safeguard excellent financial reporting and financial analysis for the Parts & Services Divisions. The availability of the right information at the right time to support financial decisions is critical and this role is pivotal in providing such information.
Your mission
The Financial Controller is an exciting role where you will support the Parts & Services Divisions with financial reporting of the division and analyzing financial and business data. Primary objectives for the position include the following:
• Financial reporting and monthly closing activities including but not limited to the support and analysis on consolidated divisional results
• Active support to the Divisional Controllers with preparation of analytical reports with effective presentation; coordination of reporting and planning process, and ad hoc requests for business follow up
• Analyze reporting process and closing activities for improvement and further implement such identified enhancements
• Safeguarding financial reporting quality
• Preparing monthly reports and scorecards for divisional management
• Be a financial and business partner to BI-developers in the development of new BI-reports with financial and business data
• Be a financial advisor in system setup for PSD Divisions to safeguard financial reporting quality
• Work together with other divisions in cross-divisional projects when applicable
This is a challenging role leading to growth opportunities within the Parts & Services Division as well as a wide range of international career opportunities within Epiroc.
Your profile
You hold a university degree in finance, economics, or equivalent combined with at least 3 years of experience in finance, management reporting, financial planning and analysis, business development, or equivalent.
You have an interest in learning reporting and consolidation systems, ranging from the applicable frameworks of accounting to how the accounting/group accounting is performed system wise. You have excellent skills in Excel, and it is an advantage if you have experience in working with Power BI as well as SAP BPC. Good knowledge of Power Pivot would be beneficial, as well as familiarity in working with large datasets.
You have good communication skills and familiarity of working in cross-functional projects. The successful candidate is used to prioritizing workloads and enjoy thinking beyond the numbers combining data with financial insight and creativity.
The position requires fluency in English, in both speaking and writing.
Location and travel
Ideally this position is located in Stockholm or Örebro, Sweden. However, other locations will be considered.
