You'll be part of a team building this platform from the ground up. This is a highly innovative space so you are expected to not only have a complete understanding of how the current generation distributed systems work, but you must understand the trade-offs made when they were constructed.
Your passion is to understand, build and improve cutting edge technology and to code. You know that backend engineering is an artform and you are constantly seeking out new opportunities to learn more.
Example of responsibilities
• Collaborate and work closely with fellow software engineers and technical directors
• Build and implement a scalable backend system for our technical platform
• Providing expertise in the cloud services and infrastructure space
• Continuously improve our engineering practises
• Make sure your code adds a great amount of value to your comrades
It would be awesome if you have
• A creative and curious mind
• Extended experience from building distributed systems and cloud native solutions
• A passion for new technologies and an innovative mindset
• Extended experience designing, implementing and deploying distributed systems
• Solid grasp of the advantages and trade-offs with cloud native engineering
• Professional English communication skills.
