We currently have the following job opening;
Director Powertrain Project Support
The Director Powertrain Project Support is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all project support activities within CEVT Powertrain Engineering, including project collaborations with Geely Auto and Lynk & Co. The role will ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization, including development of associated processes, project planning, managing issue control and change management. Further, the Director has responsibility for development and performance management for all project support staff.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Ensure project issues are managed with agreed solutions between China/Sweden teams in a controlled structure
- Development of a disciplined life cycle governance meeting structure, including approval gates at which visibility is reviewed and approved.
- Ensure that issues are tracked and closed in timely manner prior to the required gate alignment.
- Develop coherent and support relationships between business strategy and projects
- Ensure detailed project plans are developed in line with the NPDS process requirements ensuring successful validation of the product in time for J1
- Manage the development and performance of the team members
Required Skills and Experience
- University degree in a related subject or the equivalent experience
- Intercultural / international experience, ideally including China / Asia exposure
- Deep experience of project/program management and change management
- At least 5 years' experience of powertrain program management
- Experience of process definition, control and maintenance within a PM environment.
- Experience in reporting out program status in a professional manner to Board level members.
