What do we offer
We are now looking for a HR Director to join the Swedish HR team in Manufacturing & Logistics. You will lead, coach and develop a local HR team supporting Volvo Car Body Components with both operational and tactical HR activities. It will be your responsibility to ensure that your team have the right capabilities to deliver your part of the people strategy - to become the employer of choice.
Your key tasks
* Act within the business unit and serve as an account manager i.e., accountable for all HR deliverables in the business unit.
* Together with the HR team and management teams:
* Drive business transformation, primarily focus on HR strategic activities influencing the business agenda.
* Identify the organizational capabilities required to execute the business strategy.
* Champion the HR initiatives in the business unit
* Translate business needs/improvement areas into HR requirements and actions.
* Proactively develop, support and monitor actions linked to improved organizational health and increased performance.
* Collaborate within the HR function to secure innovative HR solutions and efficiency in HR services.
You and your skills
* Experience from a line leadership role
* University degree within Human Resources Management
* Experience from HR in a complex business environment
* High level of understanding of all HR processes and policies including labour law
* Experience in:
+ Change management and coaching skills
+ Strategic workforce/resource planning
+ Cooperation with unions
* Competence in Performance Management (maximizing engagement, motivation and productivity)
On a personal level
* Proven ability to build high performing teams
* Excellent ability to create trustful relations and collaboration both within HR as with other stakeholders
* Drives change and implementation with energy, courage and commitment
* Strong integrity and excellent communication skills
* Strong ability to organise multiple tasks, structure, plan and get things done
* Fluent in English, oral and written
