Axis is expanding its worldwide sales organization to help meet growing market demand. This expansion will enable Axis to better serve the current and future needs of our customers and partners and will specifically include more corporate and regional resources to support vertical industry sectors.

As a result of this expansion Axis is adding a central resource within the global industry segment organization. We are therefore looking for the right person to take on the responsibility as Director, Business Development Critical Infrastructure.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Director, Business Development Critical Infrastructure will be responsible for driving the overall global strategy for the Critical Infrastructure market within Axis on a global level. He/she is the owner of the strategy and business plan and will set the overall strategic goals for the segment.
The holder of this position will be responsible for leading a team dedicated for the segment representing business development, marketing and solutions management. He/she will drive End-Customer development efforts and be in charge of the budget for business related initiatives within the segment.

Another dimension of this position is to introduce new key segment partners in the eco-system as well as manage Axis representation in key industry associations and lobbying forums. This person will also support our sales regions and a network of business development managers.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that the suitable candidate has several years of experience from the sales field. He/she has a high knowledge and interest in the business and sales environment with a good general knowledge of the IT/telecom or security industry.

You also have a long experience from the IT or security field in theEnergy, Utilities or Telecommunications sector. Most likely you have managed an organization as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager or had a strategic role as a Marketing Director/Product Director with the responsibility of the strategy process for your unit.

We think you have a good holistic view, analytical skills and an experience from creating strategies and bringing them to actions. In order to thrive in the position we believe that you are passionate about what you do and that you are proactive and independent in thoughts and actions as well as a very good communicator. You are well structured and able to explain complex matters in an easy way.

Other important qualifications are:

Relevant academic degree 5-10 years of experience from international business management 5-10 years of experience from the IT or security field in the Energy, Utilities or Telecommunications sector Fluent in English, written and spoken. Other languages are additional High level of integrity
