The Role:

You will play an important part in enabling our R&D organization to support them with different services that you are responsible for. In the digital product manager (DPM) role, you will stay up to date with the latest relevant technological trends and apply these to Volvo's digital projects. You will coordinate with business, stakeholders and development teams to make sure specifications, targets and budgets are met. When succeeding in this role, you will have completed the projects with kept deadlines and budgets.
As DPM for build you will be responsible for functions supporting the whole build setup. You will be responsible and have close connections to DPO (Digital product Owners) across the organization, that report project status and are in their turn responsible for the stable teams/developers.

Within Test and Data solution, you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals, enabling Digital Smart Services to support Vehicle Research & Development, we learn continuously and embrace change to stay ahead.

Who are you?

We believe you want to take your career to the next level, working with amazing people around the world. To be successful in this position we believe you have a university degree or equivalent, and experience from leading functionally, preferably within IT management.

* Master's degree in computer science or relevant field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a product owner or similar role
* Good understanding of test, business need for support function to build the right support functions.
* You need to have a deep understanding of the cost, risks and compliance requirements associated with the development and operations in order to assess the benefit and value.
* Excellent communicational skills, both oral and written
* Highly organized
* Experienced in roadmaps and looking ahead of future need to make sure we deliver the right product fit for future needs.

Responsibilities:

As a Digital Product Manager, you will work closely with other digital product managers, digital product owners, engineers, UX-designers, data analysts and scientists, along with stakeholders, to continuously improve our products and the user experience. We have an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We have a clear common ambition, and we create the future together.

* Collaborate with stakeholders, business and DPOs with their stable teams to implement the right digital project with the correct speed.
* Coordinate different Business, IT or Data Management stakeholders across multiple levels of organization, internal and external to drive the resolution of data management issues.
* Establish long term roadmaps and project plans.
* Be responsible for the projects budget.
* Manage risks and escalate where needed.
* Be responsible for prioritization and connect business needs with the project deliveries.
