Our opportunities
We are now looking for a Diagnostic Engineer to our team in VCE Braås. The work as diagnostic engineer includes developing strategies for troubleshooting and testing of the machine's embedded systems and related components. You are driving the improvement of troubleshooting support already during the design stage, by actively working and participating in projects that develop new technologies. Main job area for this position is related to future Electromobility solutions .
As the new Diagnostic Engineer, you will be part of the department of Diagnostic & Maintainability Engineering. We are the main function to produce information and tools for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of products within Volvo Construction Equipment. We are involved in the development of new products together with R&D departments, not only in Sweden, but also internationally. You will occasionally be travelling within Sweden but also to your other colleagues who are located in other parts of the world. You will be part of a dynamic team who is adapting to new ways of working and preparing for the future.
Most of all work is done in collaboration with others in the department or in other departments. Therefore, it is essential that you have good cooperative skills, can give and take feedback, and deliver according to the plans you make with your colleagues. We see that you have a fresh Master's/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar, and is willing to learn and grow. Modern vehicle technology is familiar to you, and you have an interest in machinery and software features. Experience/knowledge of programming is seen as a merit.
