hela Sverige Our customer is looking for a DevOps engineer with experience in building and managing high-performing and scalable systems to handle massive amounts of transactions. They are going through a transformation where they are moving away from their legacy on-premise platform and are replacing that with modern technology and architecture.
Their new platform is built on containerised microservices that they deploy in the cloud through continuous deployment. They are working with test driven development to ensure high quality and they can quickly implement new software into production.
Main responsibilities
You will be part of a small and high performing team taking care of their Operational environment. You will take full responsibility of all new operational tasks in their AWS and Oracle Cloud environments and should therefore have solid experience with cloud tech.
Your profile
• At least 3 years of experience of DevOps
• Experience of working with cloud platforms (in particular AWS, Google, Oracle)
• Experience working with containers, Kubernetes, ECS and continuous deployment is a plus
• You know how to work with high volume data.
• You can quickly pick up an understanding of the business you are working with and are able to convert that knowledge into technical solutions that fulfil client needs.
• Terraform, Ansible
• Linux (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
• Webservers (e.g. Nginx, Apache, Lighttpd, etc.)
• Version Control (e.g. Git, Subversion, etc.)
• Shell Scripting (sh, BASH, etc.)
• TCP/IP Networking (IPv4 & IPv6)
• Active knowledge of industry trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
