Are you a structured, analytical and service-minded person with experience from software development or System administration? Do you have an interest for electrical design? Maybe you are our new colleague?
Your role
As a DevOps engineer within the Electronics Maintenance Organization, you will be part of a team whose main task is to develop, maintain and support the services within the electronic area. Apart from your team members, you will work closely together with the Service Manager, Service Owner and Suppliers in delivering the services. You will also have close contact with the business to understand their requirements.
The main tasks are:
Secure that our applications are updated on a regular basis to meet security requirements and customer needs
Develop customizations to the maintained applications
Continuous monitoring of the applications (for updates and licenses)
Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures when needed
Communication with external stakeholders
Participate in customer meetings to ensure understanding of their current and future needs, but also to nurture the relations
Participate in projects, implementing new solutions for our end-users
Handle support requests and incidents
Your profile
You are an independent and structured person with a strong personal drive. You have general technical understanding regarding IT-technology and previous experience from System Administration tasks and/or application management. It is also important that you have good communications skills and are service minded. In all our commitments, we value social competence and that you are service-oriented. Working in a team, it is vital that you thrive in this environment and that you are a team player.
Further, we value a person who likes to take on new tasks and challenges that are not necessarily within your work description. Both to help develop the team but also to help our customers developing their business using the tools delivered by the maintenance team.
Required skills: Academic education in IT, System Management or Engineering
Experience of System Administration
Good analytical skills
Experience from development in e.g. Java, JavaScript, C++, PS (Our applications are developed in Java)
Structured and service minded
Speaking, talking and understanding Swedish fluently
Desired skills: Windows server knowledge (log handling, firewalls/ports/networks etc).
Database knowledge; SQL, queries, modelling etc.
Knowledge within the electrical field
