KrisMa manufactures, develops and markets precision machines used when overhauling marine diesel and gas engines in merchant vessels and IC engine power plants. The main office is located in Malmö with production units in Copenhagen, Malmö and Shanghai. KrisMa is a market leader with very strong brands - Chris-Marine and IOP Marine - and operates globally through sales and service teams, subsidiaries and sales representatives. Engine designers, engine builders, ship owners, power plant owners, service workshops and ship yards are KrisMa's customers. KrisMa group currently has 120 employees and a turnover of 20 mEUR.
About the position:
As development engineer / project manager in KrisMa you will be part of a new team with a mission to sell and develop products and services. You work in both small and large projects, sometimes as project manager where you are the link between customer and R&D department; and sometimes as product development engineer. You will be responsible for finding customer-oriented solutions to existing as well as new customers and you will be working in all phases of the development cycle - from idea to finished product. The position includes business trips to our customers and subsidiaries.
About you:
More emphasis will be put on your personal features than on your formal education. The position involves interacting with people, both internally and externally, and it is therefore important that you are extrovert and a good communicator. You enjoy meeting people to discuss ideas and to develop and evaluate various technical solutions in meeting customer demands. You are passionate about progressing and you like to meet customer expectations with prompt high-quality deliverables. Your drive, creativity and technical know-how contributes to making KrisMa's product portfolio and market position even stronger.
We think that you have a BSc, MSc or equal in mechanical engineering, chemical science or marine engineering, but other educational background may be of interest since we are always striving to complement existing competencies. It is meriting if you have experience from oil, engine, shipping or power plant industry. Fluency in English is a pre-requisite.
