We have an immediate opening for a Development Engineer who will work closely with R&D and production, contributing in innovative or developmental projects in our fast growing Expancel business.
As Development Engineer in the Chemical Analysis and Development team, you will develop and improve existinganalytical methodology. You conduct chemical analysis and technical work in the lab and report your results, as well as lead own activities and participate in projects within your field. We also expect you to continuously d evelop your own skills and contribute to building up the knowledge in the team.
Main responsibilities
• Set up, plan, execute, analyze, interpret and report experiments within your unit
• Identify new product/process optimization and technical solutions and new application opportunities within your area and share these with other professionals
• Maintain, improve and develop new relevant research methods in the field, ensures retention of knowledge through research reports
• Lead assignments or participate in projects and ensure execution and delivery of technical results
• Formulate and present solution directions and issues advice at request or at own initiative
• Perform analysis/experimental work with accuracy, repeatability, reproducibility and precision
• Identify issues and root causes and work with continuous improvements according to the procedures for the laboratory
• Conduct chemical analysis and technical work in the lab as defined in the project plan and deliver results on time
• BSc or higher degree in chemistry / chemical technology
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, such as lab experience and experience from chemical industry
• Good computer knowledge (e.g. Windows, Excel)
• Engaged and results oriented with a high interest in the area
• Strong team player with good ability to cooperate
• Fluent in Swedish and English
