Kalmar Mobile Equipment is looking for Development Engineer Cab, Forklifts who will be responsible of the development of Cabin regarding products within the Business Line Fork Lift Trucks in Mobile Equipment division based on customer needs, legislation and internal requirements and according to business strategies.
The location of the position is Lidhult.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
To lead assigned work with partners, consultants and suppliers;
Develop systems and if needed components together with suppliers;
Secure that components and systems meet specified technical customer demands, product safety, legislations requirements and internal demands for Counter Balance products (CB);
In consultation with Principal Systems Engineer (PSE) coordinate components and systems design between CB products;
In discusion with responsible R&D Manager and PSE to plan and perform own activities according to specified requirements and time schedule;
To contribute for the co-operation between CB R&D and Sourcing and Operation;
Responsibility for regularly reporting to responsible R&D Manager and PSE regarding outcome and possible deviations;
Disucssion with responsible R&D Manager and PSE purchase component for test and evaluations / perform customer and supplier visits.
