hela Sverige Kongsberg Automotive (KA) is looking for an experienced automotive engineer for one of our customer projects. This is temporary position that ends in December 2011.
The main tasks are:
• Act as a resident engineer at our customer premises.
• Attending customer engineering meetings.
• Generation of article- and subcomponents models and drawings.
• Coordinate, track and finalize RTS ‘s.
You will be responsible for:
• Solving engineering problems together with customer engineering teams.
• Doing design feasibility checks using the KA and customer processes
• Developing, designing, specifying and standardizing the building blocks / products based on the application specification from customer respectively KA manufacturing requirements.
• The routing and packaging of the environmental 3D-models from the customer and the KA design elements/ building blocks.
• Benchmarking competitor engineering solutions.
• Witnesses fitment tests at customer sites and feedback results.
We expect your competence to be:
• Master of Science / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years work experience in automotive application engineering preferable fluid transfer systems.
• Good skills in CAD tools CATIA5/ Pro-E and IT tools for office work.
• Good skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Basic skills in project management and design processes.
