Modvion develops the next generation of wind power towers, a patented modular construction made of laminated wood. The technology enables wind turbines to reach higher altitudes for increased wind resources. Using laminated wood - nature 's carbon fibre - can change the wind industry by enabling efficient logistics for high turbine towers in previous inaccessible locations, as well as substantially reducing the CO2-emissions for wind power. The role
We offer a varied job together with skilled and committed colleagues with an opportunity to follow the entire development process up close. As Design Engineer your main task will include producing 3D models, drawings and other manufacturing documentation of the tower and sub-components for production and assembly. You will take lead introducing an ownership of a PDM system. The role also includes supporting production, business developers and customers in matters relating to technical documentation and drawings. You will thus work particularly closely with product development and production.
We're looking for...
Someone with polytechnic or academic degree in Mechanical engineering or similar and at least five years' work experience in design engineering or product development. We expect you to have good knowledge of PDM systems and 3D modelling. Experience from construction or wind power industry is an advantage. Fluent English is a requirement.
As a person, you are unpretentious and helpful, always happy to support wherever needed. You perform your tasks in an accurate and structured way while addressing uncertainties and change with an open and flexible mind.
