The group Exhaust System is a part of Powertrain Installation. We work with the vehicle mounted exhaust system working primarily with NVH and Pressure drop properties of the system. We work in close cooperation with our suppliers and different car and engine projects. We deliver complete system to new car projects and to current running production.
As Design Engineer you will be working in the industrialization phase of the project up until production start, and design different components to reach the technical objectives and secure the deliveries within the given time. The work will be carried out together with a team consisting of other design engineers, test engineers and CAE engineers. The role require close contact with other areas within R&D and our suppliers. You will be reporting directly to the Group Design Leaders, System Program Leaders and your Group Manager, and work together with the responsible design leader, follow the component development time plans. In this role you will be given the possibility to improve and deepen your technical knowledge of the system area and the chance to build new network within our company.
Main responsibilities
• In Catia V5 make concept and tooling 3D models to meet attributes and demands.
• Document in Teamcenter (PLM)
• Work together with packaging and other departments to ensure the exhaust system requirements
• Tolerance setting of the parts
Required qualifications
• B.Sc Technical education or equivalent. We value both education and professional experience
• 2 years' experience from product development
• Good knowledge and experience in CATIA V5
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Swedish driver license
• Experience in Teamcenter is an advantage
• Technical knowledge of Exhaust System is meritorious
