If so, Volvo Penta Marine has an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Demand Manager to join our team.

Role Overview: As a Demand Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving demand and ensuring the availability of our products to meet market needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Business Control and Supply Chain. The mission of the role is to optimize the demand plan in order to secure high service levels to customers with optimal cost deployment, such as maintaining high inventory turnover and high capacity utilization. Your strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to anticipate market trends will be essential in shaping our business strategies and achieving our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement demand management strategies, processes, and tools to optimize forecast accuracy, product availability, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Sales teams to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and historical data to create accurate demand forecasts.
You will be responsible for gathering market data to reflect the markets developments in the demand program.
Work closely with Business control, Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure the availability of products and optimize inventory levels.
Monitor and analyze demand patterns, sales data to identify demand drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure new product introductions align with demand forecasts and market needs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning and forecasting processes.
Present the demand program for engines monthly and hand over the demand program to Logsitics.
Knowledge of the marine industry is preferred.
Provide regular reports and analysis on demand metrics and inventory levels to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in demand management, supply chain planning, or a similar role within the marine industry or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent skills within Logistics ERP system and the Order to Delivery process, Plan Sales and Operations process. Experience with Rapid Response or similar platforms is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate market changes, identify opportunities, and propose innovative solutions.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
