Summary:
The "Solution Architect" is responsible for defining, communicating, and implementing a shared technical and architectural vision to help ensure the data and analytics framework is fit for its intended purpose. The Solution Architect is part of the agile release train and participates in the discovery of the customer's business scenarios that drives the evolution of the Solution to enable delivery of new services.
Key Role:
Describe the data and analytics framework Solution context and identify components, subsystems and interfaces
Define and implement Solution non-functional requirements
Ensure the data and analytics framework Solution satisfies security, capacity, cost, performance and quality requirements
Align technical direction amongst teams in the agile release train
Align Solution architecture with WirelessCar overall architectural strategy
Ensure WirelessCar standard services are used where applicable
Perform proof of concepts of new solutions and technologies
Solution Architect corresponds to SAFe System/Solution Architect
Needed Competences:
Experience of best practice when it comes to Data & analytics/data science infrastructure within AWS, both hands on and strategically.
Strong Communication skills
Strong leadership and planning skills
Deep understanding of current IT market and business trends across technology platforms and processes when it comes to data and analytics and machine learning
Profound knowledge and experience of software engineering and agile development methodologies
Strong skills and experience with implementing cloud technologies, especially AWS
Deep understanding of the automotive industry, specifically the Connected Car area.
Contribution towards External Customer
Discover customer business requirements in collaboration with customer stakeholders
Advise customer on technical solution for new features
Align technical solution and architecture for integration to external systems.
People Key Responsibility
Technical leader for teams in the agile release trains
Financial Key Responsibilities
Ensure that the Solution is built and operated in a cost efficient manner
Mandate
Decide and approve architecture and technical solution for the program according to the approval model
Accountabilities
Communicate clear architectural guidelines to the program
Ensure that the Solution architecture is fit for purpose and cost efficient
Ensure that relevant program requirements are fed back to the Security & CTO Hub in order to evolve the overall WirelessCar architecture framework.
This is a full-time consultancy position in Gothenburg.
