You have proven training in information technology, business information management or equivalent. In addition, you have experience in working with data queries, reviewing code and understanding how things are working. You also have experience of open source and/or cloud-based solutions. Preferably you have been exposed to large -scale package implementations and you possess experience of working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up. You have knowledge in following areas: · the principles of data management and administration· IT-systems and high-tech databases· the fast moving data technology landscape· the requirements of data management systems that centralise data from different platforms and enable agility and flexibility to respond to customer needs You perform work with care, accuracy and attention to detail and strive to meet quality standards. You have the ability to capture and interpret business requirements in terms of information, data and database technology. You are also able to digest large amount of data and perform data queries with limited support. Developing knowledge and skills, using new methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance is in your scope. In addition, you collaborate with others including virtual to achieve goals and you are aware of the fast moving data technology landscape. Moreover, you have the ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business. ABOUT THE JOBAs a Data Manager you will help to manage the various data systems within IKEA and drive the efficient acquisition, organisation and storage of available data. You will:· support the collection, validation and distribution of data within the organisation, as well as enabling other disciplines to perform data-related tasks effectively and without risk of data loss· work with development of standard operating procedures for data handling and archiving, to ensure ongoing accuracy, validity, reuse and efficient storage of available data· input into the implementation of policies and guidelines (including GDPR compliance) for data management and maintain data management plans and operating instructions for complex business systems and architectures· support senior colleagues with overseeing IKEA's various data systems and its available data and provide guidance in identifying and defining data requirements to other disciplines performing data-related tasks· help senior colleagues with defining requirements for first cleaning and optimization of raw data and ensure implementation of these requirements together with data architects and engineers· use root cause research to identify data process breakdowns and together with data architects and data engineers find solutions to the breakdown· actively explore new opportunities for more effective data acquisition· actively identify and address data quality issues and support co-workers who provide data to do this in a consistent and correct way· work across initiatives within INGKA Group, steering towards efficient and effective use of data
