Working tasks
Klarna has been growing rapidly ever since the start 6 years ago, thanks to our offering. We let customers pay only after getting their product, while guarding merchants from risk, making purchases simpler and safer for everyone while growing sales for merchants. This also drew one of the best (maybe THE best) venture capitalists in the world Sequoia to invest in Klarna.
Klarna's risk department's main responsibility is to handle and mitigate Klarna's different exposures to risk, primarily fraud and credit, and represent the risk perspective in cross functional projects.
The team Data sources main purpose is to supply the company with external information for some of the companies most crucial processes, amongst them are identification of consumers and credit assessment. Within this team you will constantly be challenged with new and exciting tasks related to external information and the results will often play a vital role in Klarna's decision making process.
As a Data intelligence analyst you will be responsible for the quality of all the external information that is used within the Risk department. This means analyzing our current data providers, leading projects related to finding new suppliers in both existing and new markets, and also to break ground in finding new innovative partners. You will strive to develop Klarna's data sources and its contents in order to ensure data quality. This also involves communication with existing and potential suppliers worldwide.
The Data sources team is new at Klarna, which will give the new member the opportunity to work together with the manager in building the team. The team will work closely with other teams within the Risk department, other departments within Klarna and with external suppliers.
Requirements
The analysts we are looking for has a strong analytical mindset and is comfortable working with numbers. You need to be innovative and have the ability to see solutions where others see dead ends. No relevant experience is required, we prefer diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate are used to dealing with data and have some technical skills or background (doesn't have to be formal), we also like you to have some knowledge in databases.
