Mölnlycke is seeking for a Data Architect to design and manage Mölnlycke's data architecture, aligning it with business needs, the corporate strategy and our enterprise architecture.

In this position you'll be working mainly out of our headquarters in Gothenburg.
About the job
In this position you will be working closely with business and Digital leaders to develop and implement a corporate data strategy and data architecture, including the approach to data management, data governance and data quality management, all in alignment with our corporate strategy and enterprise architecture.
You'll be responsible for architecture and design of robust, scalable, and fit-for-purpose data solutions which meet data standards and functional / non-functional requirements of digital products.
You'll establish architectural design patterns and best practices as well as develop architectural blueprints and technical designs for data products to ensure optimal delivery and functionality to best meet business needs in coordination with our Architecture Guild.
You'll provide architectural and design guidance to cross-functional Scrum teams and create architecture and design artifacts to ensure successful development and deployment for digital products.
You'll engage, collaborate, and build partnerships with relevant technology vendors and evaluate their technologies for their fitness for the IT ecosystem and architectural standards at Mölnlycke.
You'll develop clear, concise communication to explain relevant architectural and design concepts to the business stakeholders.
What you'll need
To be successful in this position you'll need to have an extensive track record of successfully building and productising enterprise-level data solutions at scale.
This role requires that you'll take initiatives, being proactive and networking with both IT colleagues as well as business colleagues.
You'll need to have these capabilities, qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field involving computer science / software engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture with expert knowledge in key aspects of data management, i.e., data governance, data standards, data modelling, data quality, master data, metadata, data security.
Minimum 3 years of experience in architecting and deploying AI/ML based data solutions / products.
Proven experience in data integration, data manipulation, data analytics, and data visualisation, leveraging industry-leading tools / platforms, e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.
Strong understanding of the agile software / system development life cycle, project management approaches, and requirements, design, and test techniques.
Strong oral and written communication skills to translate technology into business value including presentation skills and excellent interpersonal skills & relations with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations
High proficiency in English.
Knowledge of and experience in clinical/health data and associated data standards, e.g., HL7, FHIR, OpenEHR, OMOP.
MedTech / Life Science domain experience.
System thinking with comprehensive knowledge of relevant platforms & technologies including documented experience of enterprise software and API oriented architecture.
