We're now looking for a driven Customer Finance Professional to join us at Sandvik Customer Finance - a Captive Finance business unit with an in-depth knowledge and unique insight into our customers equipment finance needs. Our goal is to fulfill specific customer needs and achieve common objectives. Are you looking to further develop your accounting, controlling and administration skills? Your mission
As a Customer Finance Professional, you develop and produce financial services for end-user customers purchasing Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology products, and you provide wholesale credit facilities to our distributors, allowing them to grow their businesses. You have full back office responsibility for the customer finance entities of Sandvik Credit Europe and Sandvik Credit South Africa, which covers administration and portfolio management during the entire contract life cycle.
Other important parts of your job are to:
• Manage accounting, reporting and monthly closing procedures, along with handling banking and internal netting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and guidelines and create symmetry within our business areas and with company and country rules and regulations
• Prepare and participate in monthly reporting packs, tax reporting and year-end audits, and proactively plan forecasting and budgeting
• Manage our lease contracts and take responsibility for preparation, administration, maintenance and system updates
The location for this position is flexible within Sweden, although you're preferably based in Sandviken.
Your character
We're looking for someone with a degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration, and previous work experience from accounting, controlling and reporting. Having basic understanding in financial product offerings, credit and asset risk management is important in this role, and you're also trained in business and leasing administration and understand taxes. Skills in QlikView or similar systems are necessary, while we consider knowledge of SAP and Coreview as beneficial. You're also comfortable around different cultures, and since we operate in a global organization, you must have excellent English skills and preferably understand Swedish.
You're a self-driven professional with great planning and prioritizing skills. You work remotely as well as independently - advising on best practices while ensuring that correct procedures and protocols are being followed. By knowing how to handle and influence our many stakeholders, you effortlessly create and maintain trusting relations that add value to our business. You also take new initiatives, work actively to make things happen and strive to find the best solutions!
