The Credit Risk team is responsible for ensuring that EnterCard fulfils its ethical duty to act as a responsible lender, and for securing that EnterCard does not take a level of credit risk that endangers its financial performance. Together we use modelling and analytics to set the policies that determine to whom EnterCard is prepared to lend.
Now we're looking for a new analyst to join the team
As an analyst in Credit Risk you will be joining a dynamic and innovative team working in a fast-paced environment. Credit Risk are responsible for managing the balance between risk and reward across all products and countries. In this role you will be collaborating with colleagues across all functions from Marketing to Finance to IT.
You will be providing insight into credit risk strategies and portfolio performance through analysis and reporting, with the objective of supporting business priorities. Areas of focus include new and existing customer lending, impaired asset performance, risk appetite, customer profile, and market & macro conditions.
KRAVPROFIL
A significant part of your role involves working with data. You will need to have strong analytical skills and be comfortable working with large volumes of data to highlight trends and identify opportunities. Credit Risk Management is a constantly evolving process where strategies need to reflect the latest consumer behaviours in order to deliver an effective balance of risk and reward.
Along with this, you will have excellent communication skills, and be confident in conveying complex information and dealing with stakeholders.
You have a strong academic record and a university degree in maths, engineering, stats, physics, economics, business or a similar analytical/quantitative field. Previous experience or knowledge of SAS, SQL or similar programming language would be an advantage. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking on new challenges.
