Credit Analyst
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Credit Analyst assists in structuring finance proposals for Fleet and HFS customers in the Nordic region. She/He is responsible for the manually underwritten deal approval process from Strikezone delineation to final approval. Essential Responsibilities: The Credit Analyst reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer (CCO). Assisting in structuring finance proposals for Fleet and HFS customers in the Nordic region. Responsible for the manually underwritten deal approval process from Strikezone delineation to final approval. Covering amongst other things: Underwriting of leases, loans, Sale & Lease back Identify key Risks and Mitigants of structured credit applications especially Investment purpose, Obligor legal and ownership structure, Management experience and professional reputation, Customer base and Industry segment. Compliance and Integrity due diligence of customers as well as analysis of risks related to jurisdiction, deal structure, and deal execution for transactions. Perform review of financial statements and historical performance. Manage the approval process: Work closely with Sales team and CCO to structure transactions. Interact with customers when necessary, exemplifying high standards of professionalism and customer service. Liaise with functions such as Asset Management, Finance, Pricing and Operations to ensure proper structuring and special financing requirements. Communicate pro-actively with Sales Team and other platform/HQ functions to guarantee timely, consistent and transparent credit decisions. Understand the Legal requirements associated with different products and structures. Drive transactions to closure by cooperating with the sales team, customers, internal and external lawyers, sellers, manufacturers, agents, authorities and registries in drawing-up and reviewing the deal documentation. Proactively manage assigned Leasing portfolio in all aspects, particularly credit reviews, covenants, insurance coverage. Function as Platform Fraud Leader. Ensure Risk// Compliance Policies are consistently adhered to. Support local Collections team on assigned accounts. Participate in special projects and due diligence as assigned. Participate in Platform's "Getting to Strong" / OpRisk projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of Credit / Risk experience in a commercial lending / leasing / financial services environment. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Finance, Accounting or Related Discipline. High level of flexibility and willingness to take on adhoc projects or similar is required Ability to interact well in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment. Determination to respond to potentially tight deadlines for deal approval and closing. Superior oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in Swedish/English both spoken and written. Desired Characteristics: Experience in vendor finance Fluency in another Nordic region language (Finnish/Norwegian/Danish) Having previously held a credit authority
