hela Sverige Pursuant to ABB's policies on Trade Operations and Trade Compliance, each country involved in the direct or indirect exports of products, technology, or services must appoint a Country Trade Operations Manager (CTOM) who will be responsible for the implementation of ABB's Trade Program. The position of Country Trade Operations Manager will include the functions as defined by Group and Region Trade Operations Managers. Country Trade Operation Manager is the functional country leader for ABB Trade program and reports to the respective TMC Customs Trade Manager (TMC CTM) and, where applicable, functionally to ABB's Global Head Trade Compliance.
Your tasks will be to:
• Manage risk exposure to fines, penalties, sanctions for non-compliance
• Ensure local procedures are established and responsibilities assigned for accurate HTS and ECCN classification of all import and exported products/technology.
• Control procedures for screening all proposed exports with respect to relevant export control requirements.
• Support the application to the appropriate government agencies for any required export control licenses/authorizations.
• Advise senior management of the status of the import and export compliance program, as well as relevant changes in import/export laws/regulations.
• Conduct selected annual self-audits.
• Notify the Global Trade Compliance Officer of sensitive export control cases and follow the necessary guidelines to address and resolve issues.
• Lead the administration of GTS Compliance System deployed by the organization to support the trade compliance process.
Draft and/or review and approve any customs ruling request with local customs authorities.
• Maintain classification data procedures with appointed customs brokers.
• Achieve cost reductions through the implementation and use of Trade preference Agreements; Duty Drawback; Bonded warehouses etc.
• Administer local Supply Chain Security programs as applicable (AEO/C-TPAT/PIP etc).
Your foundation is a four-year university degree, however a combination of relevant education and work experience will be considered. It is required that you have minimum 8 years direct experience in Trade Compliance (Import/Export), also in-depth knowledge of local country import & export regulations, procedures and general knowledge of ABB products.
It would be an advantage if you have SAP/GTS (Global Trade Services) knowledge and a technical background regarding all LBU products and activities but is not a prerequisite as long as technical support is available.
Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken alike.
To successfully tale on this position you should also have demonstrated leadership skills, be able to drive strategic initiatives, have proven ability to successfully lead project teams and be self-motivated with good project management skills. A part of your work will also be to travel, but also effective communication with employees at all organizational levels.
Group support unit Supply Management is tasked with coordinating agreements and purchase process for indirect goods and service areas that various ABB units need. The areas we coordinate include transport, travel, property related, basic supplies plus consultants and personnel.
