The Matarengi Lodge hotel of the company Explore the North is located in the town of Övertorneå formerly
called Matarengi, just few kilometers from the Finnish border and 20 minutes from the Arctic Circle in the Torne
Valley.
The cosy and elegant Lodge with a total of 45 rooms have a reception, bar , lounge, restaurant , spa, sauna and
a souvenir boutique .
The Matarengi Lodge also offers to theyr clients many activities for discover the true essence of Swedish
Lapland and for absorb every glimpse of this magical enchanted arctic land.

We are looking for an independent Cook (M/F) to prepare dishes for the campsite restaurant.
Your Missions:
Supervised by your managers and in collaboration with your colleagues you are committed to offering to our customers
quality service.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare the ingredients needed to prepare the dishes
• Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes
• Ensure the quality and presentation of the dishes served
• Respect hygiene and food safety standards
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service
Required Skills :
• Excellent food handling skills
• Experience in restaurant service is a plus
• Good knowledge of culinary techniques and traditional recipes
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Remuneration according to profiles
Dates: from the 15th of November 2024 to the 15th of March 2025
