hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos CorPower Ocean AB i Stockholm You will be developing CorPower's control and optimization tools with guidance from experts within the company, and bridge the gap between the end of an internship and the recruitment of an engineer on a permanent contract.
The work will be performed using mathematical tools such as matlab.
This work will be divided into two main workpackages: first the validation of a simplified model of CorPower's machine, and then the development of the control and optimization tools based on this simplified model.
You are familiar with the adjoint method for gradient calculations, or ready to learn.
You may have a B.Sc. or a M.Sc. degree in control engineering, physics, math (numerical background) or related disciplines. You have relevant experience in time domain numerical modelling, good programming skills (Matlab and Simulink) and optimization. You have a strong analytical mind, broad technical knowledge and genuine interest in controlling complex machines. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Other skills that would be relevant:
Understanding of the physics at play: hydrodynamic, electrical machines, pneumatic systems, gearboxes
Experience in developing optimal controllers (MPC or others) for complex machinery
Good communication skills
