Marketing and Communications and Housing and Student Life Departments
DIS is looking for a Content Creation Assistant in our Stockholm office. In this role, you contribute to branding DIS Stockholm by creating content and media for use in social media, blogs, emails, and relevant print items. Additionally, you assist the Housing and Student Life team by joining the Hub Team, aiding students in making the most of their study abroad experience. Through this opportunity, you gain professional experience in the field of marketing and communications, study abroad, and expand your general office practices and collaborative skills.
This is a full-time internship over 12 months, as a part of the DIS Post-Graduate Internship Program. Read more about the program here:

Who are you?
A DIS alumnus or alumna who has completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
A pro-active, self-starter who can work independently
A clear communicator who can act as a liaison across departments
You will be reporting to the Marketing and Communications Team based in Copenhagen, and the Housing and Student Life Team in Stockholm. Therefore, you need to be independent in doing your tasks while also being an effective team player who communicates clearly
Detail-oriented and organized
Able to effectively manage time, while in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Confident in leading groups of students and fostering a creative and collaborative community
Outgoing and friendly, ready to make connections with students and locals to fuel the content you create
Strong writing skills paired with a visual eye; interested in making mixed media come alive effectively
Comfortable in the role of photographer and videographer, shooting with DSLRs and various equipment
Flexible with working hours to account for after-hour events and spontaneous projects
Responsibilities
Content Creation
In collaboration with the Social Media and Content Assistant, develop stories about DIS Stockholm by organizing interviews, features, photoshoots, takeovers etc. with subjects
Write short-form and long-form content, for example on the DIS Blog, disabroad.org, student newsletters, and Instagram Stories
Fulfill DIS image and video needs by taking photos at DIS events, Study Tours, classroom/course lectures, and for planned photoshoots
Student Media Group
Be an onsite face for the DIS Stockholm Student Media Team
Plan events and build community with students through workshops and socials
Support staff in CPH on their training, development, and mentorship initiatives of students
Student Hub Presence
Take shifts and be a friendly face at the Student Hub; help students with practical questions
Organize a few hub events every semester together with other hubbers
Administration
Attend and host after-hour and possibly weekend events for DIS
