Job duties
As a configuration engineer, you will become part of our sales tools team within the Marketing and Product Management department, where you will collaborate with engineers, technical designers and other employees globally. You will primarily be involved in the implementation, and maintenance of Product Configuration with responsibilities including:
* Modelling of products (i.e. separator systems) in our Configurator
* Implementing New Products in the Configurator
* Further development of the Configurator platform
* Maintenance and further development of existing product models in configurator
* Quick in getting an overview of complex data structures and the IT systems
* Be the main support to the training team with configuration knowledge
* You can familiarize yourself with product architecture and have an interest in the modularization of products
We are looking for you who has
* A University degree in computer science, mechanical, electrical engineering or similar degree combined with interest and flair for IT systems
* Interest in technical and industrial products and innovations
* Some years of work experience from working with configuration tools (i.e. Tacton), ERP systems as well as PLM/PDM systems (i.e. Teamcenter)
* Knowledge within separator systems is meritorious
* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
You are technical oriented, service minded with a positive approach, and you strive for customer satisfaction. You are highly motivated to share your expertise with your colleagues and customers. You are a solution focused person with the ability to understand the core of complex problems, being able to find solutions to solve complex problems, being persistent in finding solutions and seeing the opportunities in complexities.
