We need to reinforce our Global Components Team with a Component Specialist for crankshafts and bearings.
The Global Components Team is part of the Hand Held R&D, developing our hand held forest and garden products. The team is globally responsible for the development of cylinders, pistons, mufflers, crankshafts, bearings and other rotating parts of the product.
You will be responsible for the components crankshafts and bearings and work with design of new parts, solve quality issues and cost reductions. The work is done in projects together with our units in Huskvarna, USA, Germany, China and Japan. Your role will include support of purchasing and production units within the Husqvarna group as well as close contacts with suppliers. You will work with component design in Catia V5, coordination, verification and improvement of components in production.
We seek you who have experience of product development and want to take on the challenge of further developing core components to Husqvarnas world class hand held products. You probably have very good knowledge of designing rotating parts, high drive and a systematic way of working. High skills in durability simulation, material science and manufacturing processes are beneficial.
You have a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar competence. Good communication skills in Swedish and English are a requirement.
