As a Communication Manager, you will have a big impact on the culture of AstraZeneca Gothenburg. Your will be responsible to set strategies, leading cross-functional teams as well as directly delivering activities.
To be successful in this role you should have the ability to work collaboratively and quickly and be up to date with new digital communication channels. You will need to be innovative to create, tune and improve messages for engaging and inspiring diverse audiences. You will be part of a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team and you will report to the Site Director for AstraZeneca Gothenburg.
The role:
* Develops communication strategies and tactical plans and executes these in line with identified needs.
* Provides expert communication support to senior leaders and strategically important projects.
* Manages relationships with key business stakeholders and ensures business requirements are effectively captured and acted upon.
* Leads delivery of both internal and external communication campaigns.
* Ensures that site messages are on-brand and support the company strategy.
* Independently plans and manages work within agreed constraints of time, budget and to quality and agreed KPIs.
Minimum experience
* Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related field.
* Fluency in English, written and spoken.
* Track record of delivering integrated communication strategies and plans in support of business priorities.
* Ability to understand and interpret scientific and medical data and communicate it in an engaging way.
* Broad, multi-channel communication experience and deep knowledge of communication channels and their advantages and disadvantages.
* Experience of managing different internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels.
* First-rate coordination, collaboration, organisation and multi-tasking skills.
* Experience of and ability to work with external suppliers.
Preferred experience
* Proficient in Office, image and video editing software.
* Presentation skills.
* Excellent knowledge for detail and upholding visual and verbal identity.
* Experience of managing ambiguity whilst navigating through it.
* Experience from large, global organisations with efficient processes.
