Höganäs vision is to inspire the industry to make more with less and our ambition is to be the first green metal powder producer in the world and set the benchmark for others to follow. Now, we are seeking someone that can support us in this quest.
About the position
We are currently looking for a new colleague, a Communication specialist, to join the Marketing and Corporate Communications department for a maternity leave replacement.

As a Communications Specialist, you are developing and driving strategic internal communications for the Höganäs Group to support an environment that drives engagement and enthusiasm across Höganäs. You are helping to maintain clear lines of sight between our employees' activities and the company's strategy and objectives. You also help to facilitate collaboration and best practice sharing across the organization.

The Marketing and Corporate Communications department's responsibility is to support Höganäs' sustainable business transformation and to help achieve its long-term strategic ambitions by promoting its brand and offerings to strengthen the bond between the company and its key stakeholders. We know that we can lead a wave of change for the better by utilizing the endless opportunities of our metal powder. If this sounds attractive and meaningful to you, then look no further.

As our Communications specialist, you are responsible for the internal communication channels, and you will be the go-to person for our intranet and other internal channels. You will ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments. You will act as the global editor for Höganäs' intranet and be responsible for developing, writing and updating its content and functions and managing the network of local editors. Part of this work is to ensure that we cascade stories externally, so you will occasionally work with our external social media channels. You will, in close cooperation with the rest of the team, support us in developing our communication strategy and ensure that we reach our set targets.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining our internal communication channels
• Act as the global editor for the intranet and maintain the editorial calendar and drive the strategic work with content planning for the channel mix
• Produce (develop and write) content designed to engage and spark dialogue with internal target groups and stakeholders
• Act as communication advisor to colleagues in the global Höganäs group - supporting co-workers and leaders to communicate effectively
• Support co-workers in their use of the intranet platform
• Collect and analyse feedback data and use this to direct communication activities

The position is a fixed-term employment from February to November 2023.

Your profile
For our highly motivated Marketing- and Corporate Communications team we are looking for a proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented Communications Specialist, with a strategic mindset. If you are passionate about internal communication as a strategic tool and understand the value of these channels to drive employee engagement, this role is for you. You have a degree in Communication, Marketing or equivalent and experience of working in a similar role within the Communication field (preferably in B2B). We are a global company with customers in 75 countries, so you must be fluent in spoken and written English.

Qualifications and requirements

• Experienced in working with internal communication as a strategic tool
• Excellent at creating engaging content for our channel mix, including written articles, photography and video
• Experience from working with/managing an intranet built in modern Sharepoint
• Proven ability to build relationships internally with key stakeholders
• Experience of ordering services from consultants
