We are now looking for a driven and structured individual with a strong interest of develop our business in the role as Commercial Manager
Job Purpose and responsibility
You are a key member of the management team, reporting directly to the CEO.
You are primary accountability for the management of assigned/departmental portfolio of customer accounts on international and national level. Drive both volume and revenue improvement in order to optimize profitability and return on operational assets through structured contractual agreements.
The objective is to positively influence and drive our customers business in order to sustain and improve HPS long term profitability through structured growth and yield improvement.
You promote the development and enhancement of the external rail network to the benefit of HPS port facilities.
You work within cost budget, measure and exceed strategic business and performance objectives for assigned customer base, greater departmental accounts and new business opportunities.
You manage stakeholder communication and expectations. Prepare marketing materials like brochure, magazine, handout, handling banner on both traditional and e channel.
Organize customer event, functions for promoting HPS and to maintain customer / stakeholder relationship.
You Act as a role model and ambassador for HPS organisation, demonstrating strong business knowledge and commitment to HPS policies, demonstrating required leadership behaviours and encouraging appropriate behaviour in others.
Experience & qualifications
Bachelor's degree, MBA is preferred.
4-6 years' experience working in an operational/commercial management role.
Sound understanding of all aspects of port operations support functions and developed information systems.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the role-holder will be expected to negotiate and influence at all levels within customer organisations, third party stakeholders and the wider internal organisation.
Computer literate, good working knowledge of MS Office.
Professional level of verbal and written communications skills in Swedish and English

The facility being constructed at Norvik by Stockholms Hamnar will be capable of handling 500,000 TEU (twenty foot equivalent units) when at capacity and benefits from a direct rail link being built in the terminal and a depth of 16.5m water alongside a berth of 800m which makes this facility the most capable container terminal in the Baltic Sea.
