Getinge Group is looking for a talented Chief Project Manager to our Business Category Unit (BCU) Surgical Workflows with location in Växjö. We develop products for the healthcare and Life Science sector aimed for the global market. Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and this role offers a great opportunity to be part of a successful international organization with focus on driving and developing our projects to the next level. You will interface with a wide variety of key stakeholders and have the possibility to make contacts with all functions across the organisation.
The position
In this position you will have responsibility for the project development of new products within the BCU Surgical Workflows. You will be planning and leading the projects according to our processes. You will be involved in all aspects, from initial pre-studies by Marketing and Development right through to final handover. As a project manager, you will coordinate and cooperate with different stakeholders, from R&D and business development to purchasing, quality department and also top management.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Managing development projects including budget and time lines
• Project monitoring, follow ups and reporting, including regular reports to senior management
• Presentation of projects in front of international management boards
• Internal and external communication
• Handling requests for quotations including review of user requirements and preparing quotations, support of make or buy decisions
• Create, review and approve applicable project documentation
• Define project risks and evaluate project result (cost, time and quality)
• Plan and run internal and external project meetings, continuously tracking of mile stones
• Actively contribute to continuous improvements in development processes and project management
The position is located at our manufacturing site in Växjö. Limited travelling is required. The position reports to the Director R&D Project Office SW, Ruediger Kohlmueller.
The ideal candidate
Ideally for the position you have at least three years' experience within development and/or project management. You are comfortable managing several projects concurrently. Knowledge of R&D processes in global companies or experience within medical devices is desirable. You have a sound engineering understanding and an academic degree within engineering (such as mechanical, mechatronics, electrical) would be an advantage. It is also beneficial if you are PMI certified. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
As a person you are business-oriented and driven with a passion for improving business processes, driving profitability, communicating with different people and managing projects in an efficient manner. You are an open-minded and structured team-player who makes sure actions are implemented. Being solution-oriented and open to changes are also important assets in order to succeed in this role.
