Chief Project Manager
Customer Solutions is a part of Volvo Construction Equipment inEskilstunaand responsible for solutions complementing the machine product business such as Attachments, Spare Parts, Telematics and other products that will improve our customers business. There are now approximately 2000 people working at the site in Eskilstuna.
You have now a unique opportunity to be part of the development of new solutions to our Customers. Customer Solutions is searching for an engaged and highly motivated CPM - Chief Project Manager for Soft Product Projects. The Soft Product Project process covers the whole project scope from the start of a Soft Product Project until the end of the project i.e. the Soft Product is developed and launched together with Volvo CE Sales Regions on the relevant markets for our customers and dealers. Within this role you will be travelling from time to time.
As a Chief Project Manager your main tasks will consist of the following:
• Responsible for Soft Product Project and drive the complete project with relevant resources from Technology, Operations and Sales & Marketing.
• Overall responsibility and accountability to manage soft products projects from feasibility phase, through all phases according to GDP( and/or other relevant Volvo project model) until follow-up phase.
• Drive projects to deliver soft products meeting defined targets regarding features, quality and cost within defined time frames.
• Actively participate and if needed drive the work needed in continuous improvement initiatives aiming to increase efficiency within soft projects function.
Qualifications
You have a University Degree and documented multiple year experience of running complex projects, in large multinational industrial companies. We also want you to have the ability to lead global, multicultural and cross-functional teams. You have great skills in written and spoken English, preferably also Swedish. You have skills in Microsoft Office and excellent skills in relevant software as MS Project and SAP.

As a person you easily apply structure in your working process and are open for changes, you have a continuous drive for improvements. You need to be able to make decisions even under pressure and need to understand the importance of good communication in your daily work and you are strongly goal oriented and you focus on results.
