Your role
As a Chief Engineer, you'll oversee engineering projects for Tissue machine modernizations, improvements and equipment deliveries, collaborating closely with Valmet stakeholders. Your role involves supporting sales & application, R&D, procurement, and site operations while focusing on project 's mechanical engineering. As a Chief Engineer, you'll handle layout, 3D modelling, and subcontractor supervision and in some projects also detail engineering if needed. This is a chance to demonstrate your skills and collaborate globally, showcasing your technical expertise and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Location: Karlstad (Sweden), Wroclaw (Poland)
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
Over five years of engineering experience
Knowledge of tissue machines industry, processes and/or engineering seen as benefit
Fluent in Polish and English; additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus
Determined, self-reliant, with a passion for continuous improvement and global collaboration
Strong teamwork, networking and communication skills
Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies
Willingness to travel 20-40 days annually within EU, and internationally
