ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Chief Controller for the Nordic, you are the finance business partner to the Nordic management team. You provide insights which facilitate management decision making processes. Your financial guidance helps further growing the business in size and profitability, while minimizing financial risks. You are responsible for all financial aspects of the activities in the Nordic (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow). You will report directly to the managing director of Volvo Buses Sweden, and support the other Nordic countries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budget creation on market level and pro-active monthly follow-up.
Financial reporting, including deviation analyses to Business Unit Europe Forecasting of Financial Results and Sales Volumes, with high quality & accuracy.
Business case calculations (e.g. Electromobility projects, investment decisions) incl. risk assessments.
Preparation of Business Review Meeting materials including business performance analyses, facilitating strategic decision-making process at Nordic and Europe level.
Implementation of VBC policies and authorization rules.
Risk assessment and management, including - but not limited to - Residual Value Agreements.
Chairperson of the Local Credit Committee; coordinate with credit management in the company.
Control and approval of expenses and invoices.
Addressing auditors requests (periodic samples on revenue recognition, residual values, etc.)

OUR REQUIREMENTS:
A Master degree in economics / finance, with 5 - 10 years relevant work experience;
Fluent in both written and spoken English;
Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint presentations
Autonomous and proactive attitude, taking ownership;
Commercial, service-oriented attitude;
Leader-ship skills and experience
Team worker with strong interpersonal capabilities, confidence, persuasiveness, and integrity
Able to manage several complex financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, Essbase)
Able to manage relations towards several stakeholders (local management, local FCA, Central FCA, Europe control, Treasury, auditors, etc.)
